Abstract

The article deals with "Public policies in the perspective of mental health today", aiming to present public and or private programs and projects in an attempt to make mental health of human beings viable. To support this study, we sought to base itself on several theorists such as: Amarante (2007), Floriano (2020), Foucault (1992), Brazil (2013) and others. The methodology used was bibliographic research. The study justifies the need for public policies aimed at mental health, when reporting to the cave man having the perception of what may be disease or not, thinking about the well being of man.
